STEP FORWARD FOR MENTAL HEALTH WALK

September 13th, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. @Harbor Lawn

This year, we raised funds and awareness for NAMI Louisville’s critical mental health support services in Louisville. Every dollar raised helps us provide classes, training and support groups for free to individuals, families and friends, helping them effectively deal with mental illness and other mental health conditions.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) exists to strengthen families and individuals affected by mental illness through education, support, and advocacy. NAMI Louisville is your local affiliate of this nationally recognized group. We are the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMI Louisville is membership-based and headed by our current Executive Director Nancy Brooks who answers to a board of local peers as well as is supported by a host of dedicated volunteers.

We are very excited to host our biggest annual fundraiser on September 13th, 2025, with a fundraising goal of $100,000. The Walk will take place in downtown Louisville, at Harbor Lawn in Waterfront Park (301 E River Rd, Louisville, KY 40202). We have always aimed to meet the needs of our mental health community, and so now more than ever our non-profit appreciates your support for our operation to continue this valuable work with the increasing demands for mental health education, advocacy, and support!
