We expand access to mental health education and support by meeting youth where they are. Through early connection, we empower young people with the tools, confidence, and community resources they need to thrive.
NAMI Louisville has launched an exciting outreach program to interact directly with students and youth on the topic of mental health. Through the help of generous grants from Kosair for Kids and the Louisville Metro Government we purchased a retired school bus and updated the interior to become a place where kids can come aboard and learn about mental health, their developing emotions and how to be an advocate for their peers. We bring interactive education, coping tools, and supportive conversations directly to schools and community programs.
