NAMI Louisville's mission is directly tied to service, and we are always proud to report our recent successes. Learn more below about the events and activities NAMI Louisville has supported lately!

NAMI Louisville partnered with the Louisville Chorus on Saturday, April 11th, 2026, to honor those in our community who are impacted by mental health. The Louisville Chorus sang a beautiful array of songs that not only had a sonically impactful sound but also conveyed a message of hope, understanding, and support.

On July 3rd, 2025, NAMI Louisville was gifted with the best seat in the house and invited to the Louisville Bats game! We had an amazing time working to breaking the stigma of mental health!

On April 14th, 2026, For Parks Education Fund launched, and NAMI Louisville was honored to be a part of this celebration! NAMI Louisville believes that safe and clean green spaces improve mental health and quality of life for all. We can't wait to see all the changes that this project will make to our city and our community's health!

"Because of the federal government shutdown and impending SNAP benefits lapse, our local food banks need us now. We’re launching a community-wide food drive this weekend to support Dare to Care. Can’t join us, you can donate to help feed local families. Let’s go, Louisville, because no one should go hungry in our city!"- Mayor Craig Greenberg : October 31 2025

On November 20th, 2025, NAMI Louisville was invited to be one of the groups present to provide mental health services and resources to those in need. The Remembrance and Healing, Louisville Orchestra concert presented by the City of Louisville was held to honor those who died in the UPS plane tragedy and to bring our community together in this time of need.
On May 21st, 2025, NAMI Louisville had the amazing opportunity to visit Great Day Live and discuss the importance of using 988 when you or someone you know may be experiencing a mental health crisis! By connecting with 988, a person will be connected with a trained crisis counselor and receive compassionate, accessible care when they know are experiencing mental health-related distress— whether that is thoughts of suicide, mental health or substance use crisis or any other kind of emotional distress.
In August of 2025, WFPK invited NAMI Louisville to join them on Mental Health Wednesday to talk about the 2025 NAMI Walk! We had an amazing time discussing the importance of mental health and what NAMI Louisville provides to help those in need!
In December 2025 NAMI Louisville partnered with Whitney Strong on spreading the importance of gunlocks and gun safety. NAMI Louisville works daily with families and individuals who are experiencing symptoms of mental illness. Our suicide prevention courses focus on how important it is to make sure your home is safe from all risks, and that dangerous objects should be safely locked away.
In early September of 2025, Great Day Live invited NAMI Louisville to discuss mental health resources that we provide to our community and to talk about the 2025 NAMI Walk!
