Family to Family Class – June 9 through August 31
(Class will not meet on June 23, and will attend the Step Forward for Mental Health Walk on August 11)
NAMI Louisville announces a new Family to Family Class beginning on June 9 in Prospect and will be led by George and Janie Hersch.
NAMI Family-to-Family is a free eleven-week educational program for parents, siblings, spouses, teenage and adult sons and daughters, partners, significant others and extended family members who are caregivers or friends of adult individuals diagnosed with Schizophrenia, Major Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Panic Disorder and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Co-Occurring Brain and Addictive Disorders.
The class will be held beginning June 9 through August 18 at St. John United Methodist Church, 12700 Hwy. 42 in Prospect. The class will meet each Saturday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the lower level of the church.
